Unlike most hotel websites, you only need to search by number of people and your search results will show any available room configurations that will suit. For example, a room may be described as '2 adjoining rooms' which would indicate that if you booked one 'room' you would actually be booking the 2 rooms as a group.
How does it work?
ConnectingRoom allows families to search for hotels based on the total capacity. This will then display any available hotel room configurations which can fit the selected family size. You can then request a booking.

Hotels are not generally able to confirm connecting rooms are available without a proper check. Hotels do indicate availability on the website so if a room appears in a search, it should be available but it does require the hotel to review before a booking can be confirmed.

Once you have found the hotel and room configuration you would like, you can request a booking which will be reviewed by the hotel.
How will the hotel confirm the booking?
Once you have requested a booking, a hotel will either Confirm or Cancel the request to confirm whether they can fulfil the booking.
What happens when the hotel confirms the booking?
When the hotel responds confirming the booking, they will also denote how you can pay the hotel if payment is required. The confirmation through ConnectingRoom should not be considered a formal booking and this should be managed directly with the hotel as per te instructions they reply with.
What if a hotel cancels a booking request?
If the hotel responds that the hotel can not fulfil the request, this unfortunately means that they can not accommodate your stay. In this scenario, we hope that you can find other accommodation on the website.

Can the hotel see my name if I review them?
You can decide if your review is anonymous or if you are happy for your name to be displayed. If you choose to remain anonymous the hotel will be able to see te number in your party.

All actual bookings are between you and the hotel. ConnectingRoom is an advertising platform and therefore has no involvement in the payment process. When a hotel confirms that it can fulfil the booking, the hotel will also indicate how the room can be officially booked and paid for.

ConnevtingRoom is a platform for hotels to advertise (for freeze) their rooms and is therefore open to all hotels. ConnevtingRoom does not have an official relationship with the hotels on the site and therefore you should take the usual precautions when booking online.
I am a hotel, what do I do?
What information do I need to add?
When you register you will gain access to your dashboard where you can add details about your hotel including photographs. You can then add details about your rooms and prices
How does a guest book?
Since hotels can not always guarantee availability on connecting room, with ConnectingRoom a guest can not book a room automatically online. The guest will find a suitable hotel and then 'request a booking' from you.
What happens when a guest requests a booking?
When a guest requests a booking, you will receive an email and also be able to review the request in your account. You can then respond to this, either accepting the booking or cancelling the request.
How do I add rooms?
Go to Manage Rooms in your account and add your rooms. The room should describe the package of rooms being sold together eg 2 connecting rooms.
You can then add price and availability which should be for the package eg both rooms
What if I can't set availability?
Ideally you would set availability but if you are not able, please just set it to a suitably high number eg 10. This will mean that you are always shown as available and then you can confirm whether you are on a booking-by-booking basis when you receive a request.
However if do know that you are not available for certain periods, it would be advantageous to note that to avoid guests requesting for this time
